Introducing the New Microsoft Office 365 Business Premium Apps
In additional to their existing Office 365 Business Premium apps, Microsoft have introduced three fantastic new apps to their most comprehensive version of Office 365 targeted at small to medium size businesses.
These include:
• Microsoft Connections – an easy to use email marketing service which help your business to launch and track their marketing campaigns
• Microsoft Listings – helps publish your business information on top sites such as Facebook, Google and Yelp.
• Microsoft Invoicing – means you can create professional billing invoices in PDF’s and get paid fast, including a PayPal link.
There are no extra fees from Microsoft for these additional apps and are now included as part of the users current Office 365 Business Premium subscription.
Let’s take a closer look at each new app and how it can help give your business a more competitive edge.
Microsoft Connections
It’s well known that an effective email marketing campaign can help boost sales but getting started on one can be overwhelming. This is where Microsoft Connections comes in handy. It enables companies to create professional looking email campaigns with the use of pre-designed templates for announcements and newsletters.
As your mailing list grows, you can manage your subscribers by separating them into segments in order to target certain groups of your customers. There’s performance charts and you can check your subscriber’s activity. You can keep up to date with new sign-ups, customers, how many have unsubscribed as well as click through rates. This all means you can easily see what is or isn’t working for your business and adjust as needed.
Microsoft Listings
Listing your business online is a great idea because it gives you a greater chance at being discovered by new customers. That said, it can be very time consuming to not only get set up but keep your business information up to date across all sites. Microsoft listings can help. It makes it easy to both publish and manage your business information listings on top sites such as Google, Facebook and Yelp.
When you update your business profile in Microsoft Listings, it automatically changes your details across all of the sites your listed on, saving you time. Moreover, you can monitor online views and reviews of your listing from just one single dashboard. This helps you to collate feedback easier and in turn strengthen your online reputation.
Microsoft Invoicing
We all know how important getting our estimates and invoices out on time, tracking pending payments as well as processing payments quickly are when it comes to running our business. Despite this, it can be both tiring and confusing to keep track of this information on different systems. Microsoft Invoicing eliminates this stress. It helps you to create profession looking invoices and estimates to keep the money flowing smoothly.
What’s great is Microsoft Invoicing works with PayPal, which means credit and debit cards can be accepted online. Connecting to QuickBooks enables syncing of customer data, catalogue data and the transfer of any invoicing information to your accountant.
With these new Business Premium apps, Microsoft offers Office 365 Business Centre. There you can manage these applications and have a complete end-to-end view of your business. It bring Connection, Listings, Invoicing and Bookings together in one central location that features a dashboard where you can view key metric from all the business apps.
The new Business Premium apps are built to work together. This is great news because it means you don’t waste any valuable time transferring data manually or setting up connectors. Your contacts in one business app will automatically be recognised in another, so you eliminate the need to input your data more than once.
MileIQ
Lastly, Microsoft also announced last week that they’re adding a mileage tracking app called MileIQ to your Business Premium as well.
If you drive a personal car but use it for work purposes, such as meetings, trade conferences or customer sales visits, then you’ll agree that tracking your miles and reporting them for tax deduction or expense reimbursement can be a real hassle.
MileIQ is great because it offers a smart way to track your miles. It does this using automatic drive detection and mileage logs and with one easy swipe you can set it to business or personal.
As you can see, these new Business Premium apps from Microsoft will be a great addition to any business, whether small or large. If you’re interested in these new apps or have any further questions, call Advance Computers today on 01904 691 311 or click here.
